Michill Bank Mine

Entrance of Michill Bank Mine

Access

No access agreement in place

About 30m up the slope of Michill Bank, directly above the first layby on the Pindale Road, just before the road splits. Near a collapsed wall. Large open adit on a mineral vein with two scaff bars across the entrance - possibly a very old title. On Duchy of Lancaster land - no access agreement in place, but so far hasn't been an issue with unobtrusive trips. Stainless throughbolt anchors in place for rigging entrance pitches.
