Access

Showcave entrance was backfilled and sealed for safety reasons, but system is accessible via partially walled-up entrance to Wapping Mine, with no known restrictions. Complex is part of Masson Hill SSSI. The DCA publication 'Cumberland Cavern and Wapping Mine' contains much useful information on the site.

This site is part of the DCA SSSI Conservation Monitoring Scheme.
