Gated by Staffordshire Wildlife Trust. No access at present time to protect bat roosts - please see recommendations for cavers.

No known access restrictions apply to any of adits located outside neighbouring Castern Wood Nature Reserve (see below). Nearest parking is in field containing old Highfields Mine shafts & overgrown spoil heaps, reached along narrow dirt lanes.
